journey across michigan. #1

Pretty much, I spent the five days in our Muskegon lake house photographing, walking the nature trails, exploring my yard, and on the beach. It was an incredible experience. I realized I haven’t been to the beach in about… 2 years. Sad, right?

I accomplished a lot while there, including some practice SAT tests, finished “The Crazy School” and “Sweet Thursday.” Two very good books, highly recommended. I also forced myself to read Frankenstein, which got better as I got into it.
I was incommunicado for the days I was there also, except for phone. It was good to get away from technology- I really had time to appreciate my surroundings. I can’t wait to do it again.
